After developing an increasingly close cooperation in recent years, Certex Svenska and Klätterteknik now take the next step together by combining their lifting product- and solutions expertise.
”Certex adds some of the most experienced rope access specialists to our team. The potential for these services is substantial and demand is steadily growing. Klätterteknik’s rope access expertise and full range of fall protection equipment and services are important additions to Certex’s expertise in industrial steel wire rope and lifting solutions. Together we can always meet our customers’ needs, regardless of how challenging the conditions are”, says Stefan Jagelid, Managing Director, Certex Svenska.
Klätterteknik was founded in 2010 in Stockholm and is still led by its founder, Magnus Nordström. Over the years, Klätterteknik has become the leading Swedish provider of rope access services at heights and where access is difficult. Certex, in turn, was founded in 1904 and is today a leading provider of solutions within lifting, steel wire ropes, lifting equipment and related services.
"The increased cooperation has allowed us to better get to know each other and to identify the benefits to our customers of a joint approach to their challenges. There are synergies present by combining the two companies, but more importantly an opportunity to establish an attractive, comprehensive product- and service offering to the market. Jointly we can partner up with our customers and ensure the best possible solution at all times. I very much look forward to growing with the team at Certex”, says Magnus Nordström, Managing Director of Klätterteknik.
The acquisition of Klätterteknik is expected to be concluded during January, 2017.
